5 things tag!

Well I'm a loser as usual and just noticed I was tagged almost a week ago! Did I tell you I'm goin nuts with this construction project? Probably at least a hundred times. It's gonna be a theme for a while that's all I can say!

5 things I was doing 5 years ago:
1. Had just sold our house we LOVED to prepare ourselves to move to Logan and save some scarce cash.
2. Moved next door to my in-laws in their rental home.
3. Installing new Pergo, tile, and painting said rental home (while pregnant with Cole.)
4. Trying to imagine it might just be possible we would eventually move to Logan as we had been promised by Chris' company for the last 2 years.
5. Dealing with back problems and had to call 911 and be removed from the house on a backboard in my G's by firefighters. I tweaked my back and couldn't move a muscle without excruciating pain. It happened after a shower, and I was stuck face down naked on the floor for an hour trying to figure out what to do as my 2 year old screamed. It took all I had and lots of tears just to get my G's on. My most embarrassing moment EVER!

5 things on my to-do list for TODAY
1. Take the kids to school
2. Hang half our doors and paint the other half
3. Get Cate out of her P.J.'s before I had to pick Cai up at 3:00 (yeah I'm a deadbeat mom lately, she had fruit snacks for lunch too just to rack up a few more points)
4. Go to Young Women's
5. Pick up some M&M's for Cai's 100 days of school trail mix tomorrow.

5 things I would do with a million dollars
1. Pay off our debt
2. Buy a new 4 wheel drive hybrid SUV
3. Buy Chris the Rat Rod truck of his dreams.
4. Set aside money for the kids college.
5. Invest the rest

5 places I've lived
1. Montpelier, Idaho
2. Dingle, Idaho (no Dingleberry jokes please)
3. Fairview, Utah
4. Salt Lake City, Utah
5. Logan, Utah

5 jobs I've held
1. Bakery and Checker at Terrells Foodtown (4 years)
2. Cashier at McDonald's (2 months)
3. REM Inc. (manager of a group home for people with disabilities, 2 yr.)
4. RISE Inc. (Regional Director of SLC area serving people with disabilties, 8 yrs.)
5. Chrysalis (Associate Director in Logan serving people with disabilities, 1 yr.)

5 things I want to be doing in 5 years
1. Be at least 20 lbs lighter
2. Have my crap together
3. Have my paintings in galleries
4. Sleep at night with only two people in bed when I wake up.
5. be a foster mom for kids at risk.

5 people I tag
1. Jenny Radford
2. Candace Molen
3. Kerrie Taylor
4. Candice Eborn
5. Cami McCabe

I was hoping to find some pics of your finished addition, but instead was entertained with the G's/backboard story! I bow to you! You have officially won EVERY most embarassing story. EVER! Loved it.

This is why I love blogging, I learned some new things about you! Didn't know you wanted to be a foster mom! And the G's story is classic. One that's only funny in hindsight, but not at the time!

I couldn't stop laughing and feeling so bad for you in your G's! Oh, that is terrible and kind of hilarious! I just so that you tagged me, sorry I am such a bad blogger!
